What's Canterbury's Uglies collection, you ask?

In the 1970s, Canterbury faced a unique predicament as their factories were overwhelmed with an abundance of leftover fabric due to their extensive supply of kits to numerous teams. Determined to find a solution, they devised a clever idea: stitching these fabric remnants together and presenting them as 'practice jerseys'. These shirts, known as Uglies, gained widespread popularity as they offered a distinct appeal - no two jerseys were alike. Embraced enthusiastically by both players and fans alike, each Uglies Jersey stands as a one-of-a-kind piece, with colors varying between every item, adding to their allure.  Quite a symbol of individuality and uniqueness!
