The ANZAC Round Jersey for this year continues the tradition of featuring the iconic image of the sun rising over ANZAC Avenue, a symbol deeply rooted in the Dolphin's heritage within Moreton Bay. What sets ANZAC Avenue apart is its inclusive tribute, unlike many other war memorials in Queensland that honor servicemen from specific regions. ANZAC Avenue's tribute extends beyond just the residents of Redcliffe and Petrie to encompass the wider Brisbane community.

Originally named Brisbane Road, ANZAC Avenue was constructed in 1925, providing a vital link between Brisbane and Moreton Bay. Notably, the construction project employed 50 returned servicemen, highlighting its historical significance and the enduring connection to the broader community. This resonance with a larger demographic mirrors our journey into the NRL, representing not only Brisbane but also the entire northern corridor.
