The material has good stretch to keep it comfortable and allow for freedom of movement, but isn't so stretchy you'll have trouble binding in scrums or being dragged down by the jersey in tackles.  

It has an athletic fit so will not be excessively baggy around the mid-section.  It runs true to size if you want a comfortable athletic fit, but if you would prefer a looser fit you can size up easily without swimming in the jersey while still allowing for more room in the midsection.
